we help fix people too!
At Boatyard Bikes, we offer weekly drop-in, strip-down and rebuild sessions for Men, working on old motorbikes.
Birthed out of a desire for a space where Men can chat and build community around a communal project. No experience is needed, all you need is a willingness to muck in and meet new folks. We mainly work on old Hondas as they're fairly simple, light and parts are widely available for them.
We’ll be running a couple of sessions a week, between 10.00 and 12.30 and 13.00 and 16.00 on Thursdays. There's no need to book just come along to whichever time is best for you. Once a bike is finished, we will sell it to fund the purchase of another project bike, tools and equipment. If you have a bike or parts that you would like to donate to the project, we would love to hear from you!
